Hugo Häring Award 2020 for the Rottenburg Municipal Library

The Rottenburg am Neckar municipal library has received a Hugo Häring Award 2020 in the Neckar-Alb local group! The 5-storey new building in masonry construction in the middle of the old town of Rottenburg emerged as the winning design from a competition in 2013. The project has already been awarded the German Brick Prize in 2019. We are delighted together with the architects harris+kurrle architekten!

The award is the preliminary stage for the Hugo Häring State Prize, which is awarded by the BDA every 3 years. The prize is considered the most important architectural award in Baden-Württemberg.
