The structural design of the high-rise building is based on the conventional concept featuring a centrally located core and outer vertical load-bearing elements. To meet the specified requirements for robustness and durability, the load-bearing structure is constructed using cast-in-place concrete. In addition to optimal stability and durability, the chosen construction method also ensures the necessary fire resistance rating. The square structural grid has dimensions of 8.10 m x 8.10 m. The columns are designed as circular columns, with the column diameter to be tapered upward in accordance with the loads. For the ceiling system, the ceiling panels are designed to be as uniform as possible. Due to the coffered ceiling construction, a specially designed formwork system can be used. The geometric complexity of the ceiling soffit can be executed economically due to the recurring recessed elements. Thanks to the reusability of the formwork system, as well as the material-optimized design of the coffered ceiling compared to a conventional flat ceiling, both formwork costs and material consumption can be reduced to an optimum. The structured building structure offers maximum interior flexibility due to the large column spacing, including for future repurposing. At the same time, it also allows for direct and extremely economical load transfer. The planned modular construction method, with its high degree of factory prefabrication and easily transportable components, enables a shorter construction time.
