The design prepared by the Graz-based architects Gangoly & Kristiner Architekten was supported by ENGELSMANN PETERS in the structural design. The subject of the competition is the revitalization of the historical casemates, which are to be supplemented by a gallery and a visitor center. 54 international offices had applied to participate in the restricted competition, 10 of which were selected for the second round.
