Engelsmann Peters GmbH was commissioned to check the static calculations of the KI structures as well as various elevated station structures in the course of the double-track expansion including line straightening of the Linz - Selzthal railroad line in the Micheldorf station area. The scope of services included the static testing of three underpass structures, which were newly constructed as footpaths, cycle paths and also truck underpasses along the line in order to avoid level crossings with individual traffic. In addition, the conversion measures in the existing Micheldorf station area into an island platform including the platform roof, waiting booths, enclosure of the elevator shaft and the new construction of an electronic interlocking system were also statically tested.
