07 May Hugo Häring Award for the Niederstetten Helicopter Hall
The helicopter storage hall on the army airfield in Niederstetten (object planning: Ecker Architekten, structural planning: Engelsmann Peters) is awarded the Small Hugo of the Association of German Architects (BDA). The hall structure in lightweight steel construction with a striking colour scheme is of great architectural conciseness and high structural engineering standards.
