Optima Pharma BA5
Swabian-Hall
The new construction for the fifth phase of the Optima Pharma project consists of a production and assembly hall with an office wing in front. The building was constructed in 2021. The assembly hall has a floor plan area of approximately 65.0 m x 79.5 m. The building has no basement, and forklifts can enter at ground level. The height of the hall, including the surrounding parapet, is approximately 13.50 m. The vertical roof and suspended loads of the hall are supported by prestressed concrete or precast reinforced concrete beams resting on fixed precast reinforced concrete columns. The maximum height of the precast prestressed concrete beams is 1.80 m, with a maximum span of 32.00 m.
The up to 11.5 m high reinforced concrete columns have dimensions of approx. 70 x 70 cm and were designed with pockets in the head area to ensure that the beams cannot tip over. The hall is braced against horizontal loads in both main directions via the clamped reinforced concrete columns. The roof of the logistics hall, which is designed with low slopes, is of lightweight construction and consists of trapezoidal sheet metal. Adjacent to the northern side of the hall is an office building measuring approx. 11.50 x 64.50 m, which was constructed in solid construction. This part of the building is four storeys high, has a total height of approx. 17.60 m and is spanned by reinforced concrete ceiling slabs, which are supported on the columns and walls. The office building is braced by the ceiling slabs and the walls of the two building cores.
